The third session of SDJU-UNI-China-US Student Leaders Forum of 2021 was successfully held

At 21:00 p.m. on April 16, 2021, the third phase of the 2021 China US Student Leaders Forum jointly held by Shanghai Dianji University and the University of North Iowa was held as scheduled.


The forum officially started with the introduction of Mr. Wang Shuo of business school and Mr. Katie of the United States. Teachers and students from China and the United States had in-depth exchanges on the theme of the third forum, business opportunities between China and the United States. American classmates Ryan and Joseph first introduced the business environment of the United States, which believes in free trade. Then they introduced the business characteristics of Iowa from the aspects of agriculture, weather, renewable energy, technology, etc., as well as its working environment and holiday benefits. The two students also introduced their internship work experience, which is very helpful to the students' future internship work and employment. Starting from the three major fields of agricultural mechanization, new energy vehicles and driverless technology, our students elaborated the business opportunities contained in these three major fields, such as the advantages of driverless, the potential economic value, the help of new energy vehicles to improve the environment, etc., and emphatically analyzed the domestic policies to support its development.


After three sessions of discussions, all the agenda of the current China-US Student Leaders Forum has been successfully completed. Through the current China-US leaders' forum, Shanghai Dianji University and Northern Iowa University, a cooperative University of the United States, have further enhanced their exchanges. Under the general environment affected by the epidemic, they have completed their exchanges and discussions through online interaction. The understanding and friendship between teachers and students of the two universities have become closer, and at the same time, they have laid a solid foundation for future exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.
