The third session of SDJU-UNI-China-US Student Leaders Forum of 2021 was officially opening

At 21:00 p.m. on April 2, 2021, Beijing time, the 2021 SDJU-UNI-China-US Student Leaders Forum is held by Shanghai Dianji University and the University of Northern Iowa opened as scheduled and successfully completed the discussion and exchange of the first part of the theme. Due to the impact of the epidemic situation, representatives of teachers and students of both sides held online meetings to exchange and discuss the cultural differences between China and the United States, and fully interacted with each other according to the hot issues concerned by both sides.


This forum is the ninth one jointly held by our university and the University of Northern Iowa. The forum aims to stimulate the potential of young students of the two schools in terms of leadership ability, academic temperament, civic awareness and entrepreneurship, discuss the economic trends and business environment of China and the United States, and discuss the opportunities and challenges of investment between China and the United States. In the next three weeks, the students of the two schools will study and practice around the themes of changes in the educational environment under the influence of the global epidemic and the future business development of China and the United States, so as to feel the challenges and reflections brought about by different cultures and lives.


Founded in 1876, the University of North Iowa is the second largest public university in the United States and one of the ten universities with the largest number of foreign students in the United States. Its business school is one of the first batch of institutions certified by the International Association of higher business schools (AACSB) in the world, and has won the title of best business school for six consecutive years in Princeton's ranking of the world's best 200 business schools. The University of North Iowa is also one of the first universities in the framework of the China US education agreement to mutually recognize degrees. Over the past ten years, the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides have been deepened and fruitful results have been achieved.
