Jinbeini, a student of international trade and economics of Shanghai Institute of electrical engineering in 2018, went to the United States to study in August 2021 and now graduated from uni's marketing: advertising and digital media major.
Since choosing the Sino foreign cooperation project of Shanghai Institute of electrical engineering in 2018, I have set the goal of studying abroad in the future. I always believe that choosing to go abroad is a perfect choice. Uni is a public university with all kinds of teaching facilities. The overall learning atmosphere is also very good. The professor will answer every student's questions patiently. The relationship between students is harmonious, and the whole shows a strong academic style. The content of the course also enables you to understand theoretical knowledge, familiarize yourself with practical content, and be more in line with the society. In uni, learning always plays the most important role. When you can complete the tasks assigned by the teacher within the specified time and make sufficient preparations for the monthly exam. You will find that you have greatly improved your professional knowledge, communication skills and language skills. During this period, you may feel lonely and helpless, but these will be improved after you get familiar with the local environment and culture.
Before I came to uni, I was still at a very early stage of understanding the professional knowledge of advertising I was interested in. But here, I received very targeted training in the advertising field, listened to the most sincere suggestions of authoritative professors, and recognized myself by participating in competitions. All these have greatly improved my professional skills and practical experience, and strengthened my determination to engage in the advertising industry in the future.
Through two years of study, I have enriched my skills and experience in my professional field. Therefore, through this, I have received offers from many companies, but whether to study for postgraduate is still under consideration. Uni has fully mobilized and brought my potential into play, so that I have more confidence and yearning for the future. I went to the United States nine months ago. I have in-depth contact with consumer behavior, marketing research, distribution and logistics, digital advertising and other specific fields here. Experience is that if you study hard (I don't), a is still very easy to get. Professors will challenge you in their own way, but I hope you will succeed. They can't help you, but they are always willing to work with you. I basically don't go to office hours, but I will catch the professor after class for a chat if necessary, which is very useful. This semester, I ran my own content marketing website. The rest are not one by one. I'm still majoring in silk sliding. I don't have any bad lessons. I need to be grateful. Oh, you can speak elementary school spoken English here. No one will laugh at you. If you are making progress, you will be OK. You will have a mentality of turning away from the guests. I also like the connection here. After the class, Prof happily wrote me a strong recommendation letter. The previous teammates sent me a message after the graduation ceremony to talk about so proud of you. I didn't want to come at first. I'm the kind of person who can stay in Shanghai and always can. I didn't feel at ease when I first arrived. A stroll in Suzhou Creek gives me more satisfaction than a stroll in Chicago Creek. Later, it was found that the BBQ meatball in the canteen was very similar to IKEA's Swedish small meat balls. All pancakes here were more round than my mother's. If you don't go to brunch rolls on weekends, you won't die. It's not bad to receive fashionable flowers on your birthday and love hydroponic flowers sent by your family. After running in a super single room for a long time, you will miss it.
