University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern, Germany Exchange delegation visits business school for exchange

On the morning of April 26, 2024, Dr. from Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences in Germany Markus Gros and a group of four people came to the business school for exchange and visit. Professor Wang Yufang, Vice Dean of the School of Business, Professor Wang Shuo, Director of the International Cooperation Office of the School of Business, and Professor Zhang Weifan, member of the Internationalization Working Group of the School of Business, met with Dr. in Conference Room 502 of the School of Business Markus Gros and his team.

Firstly, Professor Wang Yufang, Vice Dean of the Business School, warmly welcomed the arrival of the delegation from Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences. Afterwards, Teacher Zhang Weifan introduced the overall development of the school and the business school. Dr. Markus Gros introduced the overall situation of Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences and Business School in Germany.

The attendees had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the cooperation between the two business schools in talent cultivation, faculty training, overseas renowned teachers, student exchange, master's and doctoral training, and teacher research, and reached some preliminary directions for cooperation between the business schools.

Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences is a German public university focused on applied science and design, located in the southwestern German state of Rhineland Palatinate. Shanghai Institute of Electrical Engineering is its main partner university in China. Since establishing a cooperative relationship in 2003, the two universities have had frequent exchange activities at all levels and the scope of cooperation has continued to expand. Based on the excellent cooperation platform of the previous cooperative institution - Kaiserslautern Intelligent Manufacturing College of Shanghai Institute of Electrical Engineering, the business schools of the two universities will also carry out more extensive exchanges and cooperation in the future, expanding the scope and fields of cooperation.
